Geotextile fabric: A cleverly designed sustainable material for land development

One of the most difficult tasks in balancing the development of infrastructure and environmental protection is the requirement for new material solutions that are environment-friendly. There are few such materials that are as versatile and impactful as geotextile fabrics. These permeable chemically produced materials are generally made from polypropylene or polyester type polymers and over time their use has been extended from simple filters or separators to the use in civil engineering, environmental guarding, and saving of land development globally. Their 5-facet functionality provides an elegant, durable, and cost-efficient substitute of the traditional methods of constructions which lowers significantly the carbon footprint of the expeditions expanding from the fields of road-building to that of retaining walls.
